Graph paper - because you might just invent pacman

I discovered yesterday that no-one uses graph paper outside schools. No-one in my workplace anyway. After asking the maths geeks in finance and the font geeks in text design I discovered that somebody had a graph paper photoshop texture - so now I can print out as much as I like, which is clearly a good thing.

So far I have been quite unambitious with my graph paper stockpile - I drew a chart with some curved bits in it. But without graph paper, and without Toru Iwatani, the world might be a completely different place and from now on I'll be keeping a printable graph paper texture, or an actual pad of the stuff, close to hand.

Update - printable graph paper from Doane Paper can be downloaded here and a variety of printables for 'visual designers, interaction designers or information architects' can be found here. Happy graphing.
